NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 8 (4) OF THE GAS (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1996 (as amended).

The Northern Ireland Authority for Energy Regulation (hereafter referred to as ‘the Authority’) pursuant to Article 8 (4) of the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 hereby gives notice as follows:

1. The Authority proposes to grant the following licence to Phoenix Supply Ltd:

a) A licence for the supply of gas in the area specified under Schedule 1 of the Phoenix Natural Gas Ltd Combined Licence for the Conveyance and Supply of Gas in Northern Ireland.

2. The Authority considers that the granting of this licence will ensure Phoenix Natural Gas Ltd is compliant with the business separation requirements specified under Article 13 of the 2003/55 EU Directive.
