The first stage in this review is to update NIE’s licence to include a definition of a severe weather event. The consultation paper sets out the licence modifications for the definition of a severe weather event and the potential impacts on how NIE performance is measured. A formal licence modification notice is also included at Annex 3 to the consultation paper.
