Summary

Consultation on Cost Recovery Process for SONI’s Uncertain Revenues

The UR today publishes its consultation on the proposed process for cost recovery of Transmission Network Pre-construction Projects (TNPPs) and uncertain revenue (Dt) applications by the electricity transmission System Operator for Northern Ireland (SONI). The process has been formalised to implement the Competition Markets Authority (CMA)'s decisions on the SONI Price Control 2015-2020 appeal. The focus of this consultation is to ensure that the process and guidance proposed by the UR reflect the CMA conclusions and ensure transparency of cost recovery for SONI.
