UR publishes Gas Transmission Price Control approach document

The Utility Regulator today publishes an Approach document outlining how it proposes to conduct the next Gas Transmission Price Control (GT17). Alongside this Approach document we also publish a final draft of our Regulatory Instructions and Guidance, comprising the Reporting Template and Definitions Manual. The licence holders will be required to submit their business plans for the next review period in accordance with this Guidance. Subsequent cost reporting during the review period must also be in accordance with this Guidance.

The next review period will commence on 1 October 2017 and will apply to four gas conveyance licencee holders, GNI (UK), Premier Transmission, Belfast Gas Transmission and Northern Ireland Energy Holdings.
