Extension to Electric Ireland gas supply licence proposed
The Utility Regulator has today given notice of its intention to grant an extension to the gas supply licence held by ESB Independent Energy (NI) Limited (T/A Electric Ireland). The proposal is to extend the licence to include the Gas to the West Area. This extension will allow the licensee an opportunity to supply gas to customers within the West Area when the network has been developed.
The proposed licence changes to facilitate the extension are included as an annex to the notice.
