Utility Regulator Consults on Wind farm Generation Licence Proposal

Today the Utility Regulator is publishing a statutory notice as folllows:-
NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 10(4) OF THE
ELECTRICITY (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1992
The Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (hereafter referred to as “the Authority”) pursuant to Article 10(4) of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 as amended hereby gives notice as follows:
(1) The Authority proposes to grant a generation licence to Gruig Wind Farm Ltd.
(2) The Authority considers that Gruig Wind Farm Ltd is a credible generator; and that the grant of the licence would promote diversity in the generation of electricity;
(3) Representations or objections with respect to the proposed licence may be made on or before Monday 6th August 2007 to the Authority at Queens House, 14 Queen Street, Belfast, BT1 6ER.
