The Utility Regulator today has modified the Airtricity Energy Supply (NI) Limited Gas Supply Licence, as held under Article 8(1)(c) of the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, as amended.
The effect of the modification will be to exclude the Licensee from supplying gas to customers in the Greater Belfast area whose consumption of gas at any premises is not reasonably expected to exceed 732,500 kilowatt hours in any period of twelve months, and comes into effect on 22 August 2012.
During the consultation on the licence modification, the Utility Regulator received one response. The response is also published.
