OFREG today publishes an explanatory note detailing procedures to be followed in the event of a capacity shortfall and/or emergency on the Scottish-to-Northern Ireland pipeline (SNIP). This note also explains how costs to gas-fired power stations and SONI associated with fuel switching following a capacity shortfall on SNIP may be recovered.
