The Evaluative Performance Framework (EPF), part of SONI’s 2020 - 2025 price control, provides an evaluation of their Annual Forward Plans and performance. Through this, we build a comprehensive picture of SONI’s performance based on the knowledge and experience of a wide range of consumers, industry parties and experts.
Our independent panel of experts will soon review SONI’s Annual Performance Report for 2023/2024 against a set of evaluation criteria. The panel will take into consideration evidence and views from stakeholders.

Stakeholder meeting – April 2025
We plan to host a stakeholder meeting in April 2025. This event will allow SONI to explain its Annual Performance Report for 2023/2024 and allow stakeholders to ask questions and provide direct feedback to SONI.

Assessment of the Annual Performance Report
Following the April stakeholder meeting, the panel will conduct their assessment of SONI’s Annual Performance Report 2023/2024 (taking all evidence into account). We will then publish a report detailing the panel’s assessment and their recommendation to us.
We will aim to make our determination on SONI’s performance by the end of April 2025. This determination will include the calculation of a financial reward or penalty using the method set out in the Evaluative Performance Framework Guidance document. This will bring the EPF year 2023/2024 to its conclusion.
Continuation of EPF year 2024/2025
SONI’s current EPF year (2024/2025) will continue with the publication of their Mid-Year Update Report for 2024/2025. The publication date for this report is scheduled for the end of April 2025. Further updates will be provided in terms of SONI’s Mid-Year Update for 2024/2025 in due course.
