On 2 May 2014 the Utility Regulator issued a public consultation on the proposed grant of an electricity supply licence to Bord Gáis Energy Limited.
We did not receive any formal responses to the proposal to grant a licence to Bord Gáis Energy Limited.
In accordance with Article 10 of The Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992, the Utility Regulator now gives notice that a licence for the supply of electricity in Northern Ireland was granted to Bord Gáis Energy Limited on 3 June 2014.
