NIE publish revised statement of charges for connection to the electricity distribution system

On 9 May 2013 we approved changes to NIE’s Statement of Charges for Connection to the Northern Ireland Electricity Distribution System. This update reflects the charging arrangements for authorised generators connecting to the network as part of a group or “cluster” so that they will share network infrastructure.

Also included in the statement of charges is the methodology for connecting groups of generators to the Northern Ireland Distribution System using Cluster Substations.
