Following the revocation of Open Electric’s licence to supply electricity to customers in Northern Ireland, the Utility Regulator has been working with the company’s administrator, Power NI and other stakeholders to ensure the affected customers receive any credit owed to them.
We can now confirm that any credit Open Electric customers had on their accounts has been applied to their Power NI account and will show on their bill as ‘Final Open Electric credit’.
If a customer decides to switch from Power NI, any remaining credit will be refunded to them.
