The Utility Regulator today publishes its Approach document for its next price control for NI Water, PC21, which was issued to stakeholders on 29 June. This has been developed in consultation with principal stakeholders and summarises our aims for the period, our approach to key areas of the price control and the programme for the determination process.
PC21 will be our fourth regulated price control for NI Water and will cover the period April 2021 to March 2027. It will look to deliver further consumer benefits by building on the achievements delivered to date by NI Water through previous price controls. It will also seek to continue to deliver the PC15 objectives of promoting long term planning, providing a more stable and predictable framework for efficient service delivery and facilitating the delivery of long-term sustainable outcomes in line with the Long-Term Water Strategy.
