Today we publish a consultation paper on SONI’s draft Transmission Development Plan for Northern Ireland (TDPNI) 2019 – 2028.
The plan has been prepared in accordance with Condition 40 of SONI’s Licence. The Transmission Development Plan for NI (TDPNI) 2019-2028 sets out proposals for the development of the NI transmission network and interconnection over the ten years from 2019. This plan presents projects that are expected to be needed for the operation of the electricity transmission network in the short- and medium-term.
We are also publishing a spreadsheet detailing changes, in costs and estimated completion dates between the TDPNI 2018-2027and the TDPNI 2019-2028.
