Summary
The Utility Regulator today publishes notice of its intention under Article 10(4) of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 (the Order) to grant an electricity generation licence to ReGen WTE Limited.
The Utility Regulator has today given notice of its intention to grant a licence to generate electricity to ReGen WTE Limited. ReGen WTE Ltd is a waste fuel producer intending to construct a generator fuelled by recovered fuel. Any surplus electricity will be exported to the NI grid.
A copy of the proposed licence accompanies this notice.
Responses to the notice, preferably in electronic format, should be forwarded on or before 06 March 2024.
Copies of all documents will be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
