UR publishes proposed next steps paper on introducing contestability in electricity connections
Published:
Summary
Today the Utility Regulator publishes a proposed next steps paper on introducing Contestability in Electricity Connections within Northern Ireland.
The purpose of the paper is to seek views and comments on issues associated with the implementation of contestability in connections to the transmission and distribution networks. In particular, views are sought on activities that are likely to be contestable, accreditation arrangements and the application of operation and maintenance costs. This document is most likely to be of interest to all parties owning, connecting to, or providing connections to the electricity network in Northern Ireland.
We would also welcome contributions from customers, customer representative bodies, financial institutions and other interested parties.
Copies of the proposed next steps paper and any accompanying documents will also be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
