Article 9(6) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015, establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management (the CACM Regulation), requires the approval of all regulatory authorities of the common grid model methodology.
On 10 March 2017, the Utility Regulator received the amended proposal for the Common Grid Model Methodology (CGMM) from SONI Limited, the Northern Ireland TSO.
The Utility Regulator is today, 6 July 2017, publishing its decision to approve, in line with the all regulatory authorities’ agreement dated 8 May 2017, the proposal for the CGMM. Also published is the approval by all RAs of the all TSO proposal for the CGMM.
