The Utility Regulator has today, 8 March 2019, published a Notice regarding applications for designation as Nominated Electricity Market Operator.
The Utility Regulator (UR), pursuant to Articles 4(4) (NEMOs designation and revocation of the designation) and 9(8)(a) (Adoption of terms and conditions or methodologies) of the CACM Regulation, designated SONI Ltd., as a Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) for single day ahead and intraday coupling in Northern Ireland for an initial term of four years. This Designation took effect from 3 October 2015 and will continue in force until 3 October 2019.
The UR hereby notifies interested parties that applications for designation from 3 October 2019 will be accepted until 5 April 2019.
