Job description
Protecting Northern Ireland’s energy and water consumers today and tomorrow is what we do.
This is a great time to join us as we look to support the move to net-zero, whilst providing a stable investment environment, develop energy markets and improve consumer protection.
And we are changing too. You’ll be joining an organisation that is growing and transforming to meet the challenges of the future and protecting consumers in a changing world.
Estates, Information Technology and Records Officer
Working as an Estates, Information Technology and Records (EIR) Officer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Administrative Assistant in managing calls and visitors, supplies and stores and crucially, maintaining a safe working environment through taking forward our approach to health and safety.
You will have the opportunity to work with teams across a variety of functions and actively contribute to the delivery of our aims and objectives.
This role is ideally suited for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong customer service and communication skills, a thorough approach to keeping records and a desire to do the right thing in the right way.
We offer an attractive package including a competitive starting salary with stepped increases per annum, alongside a range of other benefits including hybrid working, Northern Ireland Civil Service pension arrangements and 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after two years) and an additional 12 public and privilege days.
The closing date for applying is: 2:00pm, Monday 10 June 2024, with interviews expected to take place late June.
Northern Ireland continues to have an under-representation of women across the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) industries. The Utility Regulator is an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer. As people with a disability, people from ethnic minority communities and women are currently underrepresented in the Utility Regulator, we would particularly welcome applications from these groups.
