Governance and Licensing
The I-SEM and the European Regulations that underpin it will require a number of new roles and responsibilities. It will also require changes in the responsibilities of a number of existing licence holders in the SEM including the TSOs, interconnector owners and market participants.
A key deliverable of the Governance and Licensing work stream is the designation of a Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) and governance arrangements for this. There will also be governance and licence changes required to implement the new Capacity Mechanism.
