NIE Networks has issued a stakeholder consultation on the management of Small Scale Generation (SSG) connections seeking permanent parallel operation on the electricity distribution network. The consultation is seeking stakeholder feedback on proposals for future ‘managed connections’ relating to SSG. This consultation would be of particular interest to small scale generators wishing to connect to the electricity network.
This consultation is titled ‘Consideration of proposed changes to small scale generation connection to the Northern Ireland electricity distribution system’ and can be viewed here. Responses to the consultation should reach NIE Networks on or before 5pm on Friday 16 October 2015 and we would encourage interested parties to respond.
