Latest Utility Regulator newsletter published

We have published our latest newsletter which provides an update on our work during March.

Alongside our daily activities, this month has seen us engage with stakeholders by participating in panel discussions and undertaking site visits and Ministerial meetings.

Our Head of Networks, Jillian Ferris, participated in a panel discussion at the Workshop on Grid Access for Wind farms across Europe in Athens.

We also hosted our own Non-domestic Energy Market forum and presented evidence to the Committee for the Economy.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, we showcased some of our talented colleagues in video and blog posts across our social media channels.

We also published a number of key documents, including our Forward Work Programme 2025/2026, which is our annual business plan that sets out the non-routine projects we plan to do during the year.

The latest Quarterly Retail Energy Market Monitoring (QREMM) Report for Q4 2024, which provides a range of information about Northern Ireland’s retail electricity and gas markets, was also published.

Within this month’s newsletter, we’re spotlighting some of the staff who produced our latest Quarterly Retail Energy Market Monitoring Report - Markets Monitoring Analysis Manager, Andrew Mawhinney and Regulatory Associate Analyst, Malachy Moreland.
