The Utility Regulator regulates the gas prices for customers of SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (for the Greater Belfast and West areas) and Firmus Energy (Ten Towns area), and the electricity prices for Power NI’s domestic customers.
This means that we continuously monitor the components that make up these regulated tariffs and then approve any resulting change to tariffs when necessary.
As part of our regular review process, we have started a formal review of the regulated gas tariffs for SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (in the Greater Belfast and West areas) and Firmus Energy (Ten Towns area). We expect that the reviews will conclude by late February, with announcements to follow soon after.
The regulated domestic tariff for Power NI changed on 1 December 2024 and is not included in this latest review of regulated tariffs.
