On 19 September 2014, the Utility Regulator received a request from Ervia (formerly Bord Gáis Éireann) to revoke the electricity supply licence which was granted on 15 October 2002.
Ervia no longer requires its electricity supply licence in Northern Ireland as it does not supply electricity to any customers under this licence. It has been requested that the licence is revoked in accordance with Condition 1(a) of Schedule 2 of the electricity supply licence.
On 30 September 2014 we gave notice to Ervia that its electricity supply licence will be revoked, effective from 30 October 2014, in accordance with Condition 1(a) of Schedule 2 of the electricity supply licence.
