The Utility Regulator is inviting interested stakeholders to a workshop to discuss our current consultation on the price control for Northern Ireland’s gas distribution networks (referred to as GD14).
The GD14 price control proposals cover both Phoenix Natural Gas Limited and firmus energy (Distribution) Ltd for the three-year period from January 2014 to December 2016. The proposals set out the amount that the companies will have to run their businesses and invest in their respective gas networks.
As our GD14 proposals are focused on protecting consumers, we are keen to engage with stakeholders during the consultation process.
In the consultation paper we suggested 6 or 7 August as provisional dates for the workshops. However we have decided to delay the workshop until the start of September.
We will be holding a workshop on Friday 6 September at 9.30am - 12.00pm. The workshop will involve a presentation and discussion to inform stakeholders of our proposals in relation to GD14 and the impact it has on consumers. We have decided to hold one workshop to cover how the price control affects domestic, business and industrial consumers.
Registration and tea and coffee: 9.30am
Workshop: 10.00am – 12.00pm
The workshop will be held at our office - Queens House, 14 Queens Street, Belfast BT1 6ED.
If you interested in attending, please register with Karen Wilson, indicating which workshop you would like to attend, by Friday 30 August 2013.
