The Utility Regulator today publishes its decision paper on the access regime for the proposed Islandmagee gas storage facility.
The paper provides a decision on the most appropriate Third Party Access (TPA) regime for the proposed Islandmagee Storage Limited (IMSL) facility and follows our consultation paper that was published on 18 May 2012.
We received two responses to the consultation and have considered these in our final assessment. The responses are published below:
• AES Ballylumford
• BP Gas Marketing
IMSL has applied for a licence to store gas in a proposed gas storage facility in the Larne Lough area and we are currently applying licence application procedures. However, before we decide upon the granting of a gas storage licence we are required to consider the TPA regime for the facility under Article 33 of Directive 2009/73/EC.
Copies of the documents can be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
