The Utility Regulator today publishes its determination on the changes and clarifications that are being made to the Northern Ireland Marketing Code of Practice for Non-Domestic Customers.
The paper explains that the newly drafted code for non-domestic customers (businesses) clarifies any ambiguities that existed in the business code as previously drafted. These changes reflect the changes that were made to the domestic code in September 2017.
Suppliers should already be compliant with the code, but in relation to the extension in time required to hold information, they will have three months from the publication of this paper to comply with this new obligation.
