The Consumer Protection Programme (CPP) is our primary means of delivering fair and equitable results for all domestic consumers of electricity, gas and water, including those in vulnerable circumstances.
Following COVID-19, we reviewed the programme to make sure the projects were providing the best outcomes for consumers. Following the review, we have updated our proposed work plan for years two and three of the programme to include a renewed focus on debt and affordability.
While work continues on the original projects as identified for year one of the programme, we look forward to embarking on affordability focused work in the final two years of the programme.
