Job description
The Utility Regulator is seeking to appoint a permanent:
Finance and Procurement Officer
Salary is from £30,181- £33,043 per annum
Protecting Northern Ireland’s energy and water consumers today and tomorrow is what we do.
This is a great time to join us as we look to support the move to net-zero, whilst providing a stable investment environment, develop energy markets and improve consumer protection.
And we are changing too. You’ll be joining an organisation that is growing and transforming to meet the challenges of the future and protecting consumers in a changing world.
Finance and Procurement Officer
Working as a Finance and Procurement Officer within the Utility Regulator, you will play a key part in providing operational support within the finance team across a broad remit including procurement, payroll, financial management, budgetary monitoring and reporting.
This role will require a well-organised individual who can work on their own initiative, flexibly and collaboratively in a professional manner with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to prioritise your workload.
We offer an attractive package including a competitive starting salary with stepped increases per annum, alongside a range of other benefits including hybrid working, Northern Ireland Civil Service pension arrangements and 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after two years) and an additional 12 public and privilege days.
Northern Ireland continues to have an under-representation of women across the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) industries. The Utility Regulator is an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer. As people with a disability, people from ethnic minority communities and women are currently underrepresented in the Utility Regulator, we would particularly welcome applications from these groups.
