List of Schemes for NISEP 2025-2026 published

The Utility Regulator is pleased to announce that we have approved the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programmes (NISEP) Schemes for 2025-2026.

Full details on the schemes have been published.

NISEP is an energy efficiency programme for domestic and non-domestic customers. The majority of this funding (at least 80%) is available to vulnerable or ‘priority’ customers.

The programme is currently delivered by 11 Scheme Managers and provides funding for the following categories:

  • Priority whole house solutions (heating and Insulation measures);
  • Priority individual measures (insulation and various other energy efficiency measures); and
  • Non-priority schemes (various measures for domestic, commercial and innovative schemes).

To apply for the schemes, please review the information below:

  • Identify the scheme you want to apply for and check that you are eligible to receive funding; and
  • Contact the relevant Scheme Manager via the telephone number or email address provided for further details.

Please note that as demand is high for certain NISEP Schemes and grants are allocated on a first come first served basis, the scheme you wish to apply for may be oversubscribed and already have a waiting list in place. This is noted on the List of Schemes as ‘current waiting list’.

Scheme Managers will also be able to advise on the current status of individual schemes.

If you want to discuss all relevant energy efficiency funding options available with an energy advisor, you can also contact the Northern Ireland Energy Advice service online, or call freephone on 0800 111 4455.
