Utility Regulator and CER publish preliminary CAG cost benefit analysis

As part of the Common Arrangements for Gas (CAG) project the Utility Regulator and Commission for Energy Regulation are today publishing a preliminary Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA). This analysis can be viewed or downloaded using THIS LINK. The CBA provides a high-level analysis of the estimated costs and benefits of implementing common arrangements between the gas networks in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This analysis is based on information provided to the regulatory authorities during initial discussions regarding the establishment of the project. The CBA will be refined once the scope of the project is more clearly defined.

Enquiries on the Cost Benefit Analysis should be directed to richard.hume@niaur.gov.uk or jmurray@cer.ie.
