The Utility Regulator is seeking to appoint Permanent:
Regulatory Analysts
A reserve list will be created from this competition in order to fill any additional Analyst roles which may arise and may be placed across the organisation, including permanent and fixed term opportunities.

This is your opportunity to develop your expertise in a highly sought after specialist regulation role, providing analysis and advice on energy (electricity and gas) and water issues. Salary: £39,969- £49,961 per annum
Pension: Northern Ireland Civil Service pension arrangements
Contract: Permanent- 37 Hours per week (flexi-time working as standard,
plus other flexible working arrangements will also be actively be considered)
Holidays: 25 days (rising to 30 days), plus 12 p&p days
Essential Criteria:

At least two years demonstrable experience of successfully analysing and providing advice on one or more of the following : business/commercial issues; utility/market regulation issues; economic/policy considerations; consumer policy/research
- Experience of undertaking complex analysis of written and/or numerical information to support the evaluation and delivery of business or policy decisions.
- Proven experience of effectively building and maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to positively demonstrate by examples, a commitment to workplace values that align to those of the Utility Regulator.
The assessment process and the interview process will take place either remotely or in person in our offices in Belfast. Candidates will be informed of assessment and interview arrangements closer to the time and this will be subject to Executive guidance on COVID-19 restrictions.
