What happens if I move house?

• You should let your supplier know that you are moving out of the property and take a final meter reading on the day you move out.

• When you move to a new property, contact the existing supplier to provide them with a meter reading and your details or you could up paying the previous occupant’s electricity or gas bills.

• We have information on how to find out who your supplier is on our website.

• If you are a prepayment meter customer and move home, make sure you tell your supplier of your new property or you could end up paying the debt of a previous resident.

• If you wish to switch to a different supplier you should then contact your chosen supplier.
