Reporting suspected theft of electricity or gas

What do I do if I suspect the theft of electricity or gas?

• Energy theft is when a gas or electricity meter is tampered with so that it does not accurately record the amount of energy used.

• This is against the law and can be extremely dangerous.

• Energy theft also increases costs, which in turn results in higher bills for customers.
